Consulting that ends in a decision, not a deck.

Two practices that work together: strategy and management consulting to set the direction, finance and accounting advisory to make sure the direction is affordable.

Fixed scope, fixed fee

Every engagement is proposed with defined deliverables, a timeline, and a price. Hourly billing is the exception, not the default.

Senior-led delivery

No pyramid staffing. The advisor who scoped your engagement is the one in the room and in the model.

Documented handoff

Models, dashboards, and process docs are yours at the end — built to be maintained by your team, not by us.

Practice 01

Strategy & Management

You know something needs to change. We help you figure out what, in what order, and what it will take.

  • Growth strategy & market entry — where the next dollar of revenue realistically comes from, and what it costs to get it.
  • Operating model & org design — roles, spans, and decision rights that match the size you're becoming.
  • Process improvement — mapping the work, finding the drag, and rebuilding the steps that cost the most.
  • Leadership alignment — facilitated planning sessions that end with owners, dates, and a single written plan.
  • Succession & transition — preparing an owner-run business to run without the owner.

Typical engagement

Strategic Review — 4–6 weeks. Interviews, market and competitive read, financial baseline, and a prioritized plan with a one-page scorecard.

Good fit when

Revenue has plateaued, a new market or contract vehicle is on the table, or the leadership team can't agree on what to do first.

What you get

A written strategy document, a 12-month roadmap with owners, a scorecard of five to seven metrics, and a working session to launch it.

Practice 02

Finance & Accounting

Bookkeeping tells you what happened. We build the layer above it — the one that tells you what to do.

  • Fractional CFO & controller — senior financial leadership at a fraction of a full-time hire, on a monthly cadence.
  • Budgeting & forecasting — a driver-based model you can run scenarios in, not a spreadsheet nobody trusts.
  • Cash-flow management — 13-week rolling cash forecasting, working-capital and collections discipline.
  • Reporting & KPI dashboards — a monthly package that gets read, with commentary that explains the variance.
  • Internal controls & close — shortening the month-end close and removing the single points of failure.
  • Lender, investor & grant readiness — the package, the projections, and the answers before you're asked.

Typical engagement

Fractional CFO — ongoing, 1–4 days per month. Monthly reporting package, forecast maintenance, and a standing leadership call.

Good fit when

You're between a bookkeeper and a full-time CFO, preparing for financing, or your reports arrive too late to be useful.

What you get

A three-statement model, a 13-week cash forecast, a monthly reporting pack, and a documented close calendar.

Engagement models

Three ways to work with us

Every engagement starts with the same free consultation. Where it goes from there depends on how much of the problem is already understood.

Diagnostic

2–3 weeks. A focused assessment when you know something is wrong but not what. Ends with a written findings memo and a recommendation on whether further work is even warranted.

Project

6–16 weeks. A defined build — a strategy, a financial model, a redesigned process — delivered against a fixed scope and fee with a clear end date.

Ongoing advisory

Monthly retainer. Fractional CFO work, quarterly strategy reviews, or a standing seat at your leadership meeting. Cancel with 30 days' notice.

Questions

Before you reach out

What does an engagement cost?
Diagnostics and projects are quoted as a fixed fee once scope is agreed; ongoing advisory is a monthly retainer. We give you the number in writing before any work starts, and we'll tell you honestly if the engagement isn't worth the spend at your stage.
Do you replace our accountant or bookkeeper?
No. We sit above that layer. Your bookkeeper records transactions and your CPA handles tax and attest work — we build the forecasting, reporting, and decision framework on top and coordinate with both.
Do you work with clients remotely?
Yes. Interviews, working sessions, and reporting calls all run well over video, and most engagements are a mix. We travel on site when the work genuinely calls for it — usually the diagnostic phase and the sessions where decisions get made.
How small is too small?
Most clients are between $1M and $50M in revenue. Below that, a full engagement is usually hard to justify — but the free consultation still applies, and we'll point you toward the right resource if it isn't us.
How quickly can you start?
Consultations are usually available within a week. Project starts depend on current capacity — typically two to four weeks out, sometimes sooner for diagnostics.

Not sure which one you need?

That's what the first conversation is for. Tell us what's going on and we'll tell you what kind of engagement — if any — actually fits.
